Duke-Carolina gets bigger as it ages

In the long and ever-changing history of this, the greatest rivalry in all of college basketball, almost nothing stays the same. To those on the outside looking in, this appears to be just another chapter in a long-running series, a lineage of games across almost 100 years. The view from above seems to suggest a festering hatred among the teams, the coaches and the alumni. Nothing could be further from the truth.
