N.C. State denies report saying coach Mark Gottfried's fate already decided

N.C. State refuted a report Monday night that said it planned to fire men’s basketball coach Mark Gottfried. The report, which came from WTVD-11, stated that the school reached a decision about Gottfried’s future following Saturday’s 88-58 loss at Wake Forest, the team’s fifth in a row. It also said that the Wolfpack had reached out to former N.C. State guard and current Dayton coach Archie Miller. (Fayetteville Observer)
