This is the first time North Carolina has beaten NC State twice in one season by 20 or more points since 1993. The 24-point margin of victory ties Carolina’s largest over NC State in PNC Arena. Joel Berry II became the 75th Tar Heel to score 1,000 career points (most in NCAA history). The game was Roy Williams’ 500th game as UNC’s head coach. (GoHeels.com)
