Zion Williamson broke a state record, and the Spartanburg Day School boys basketball team emphatically claimed its first SCISA Region I-2A title Tuesday night. Region Player of the Year Williamson led all scorers with 37 points. The effort gave the junior his 27th 30-point game of the season, breaking a state record that Larry Davis of Denmark-Olar had held since 1991.
