Vince Carter passes Allen Iverson on all-time scoring list

With a three-pointer late in the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s game between the New Orleans Pelicans and Memphis Grizzlies, Vince Carter moved into 23rd place on the all-time scoring list. In doing so, he passed NBA Hall-of-Famer Allen Iverson, who retired with 24,368 career points. Carter, the 19-year NBA veteran out of North Carolina, now sits at 24,371 points.
