Roy Williams apologizes to Rick Pitino after incident with fan

UNC coach Roy Williams apologized to his Louisville counterpart, Rick Pitino, after Wednesday’s 74-63 victory for a halftime incident with a fan that left the Cardinals’ coach steamed. With his team trailing 33-30, Pitino left the court when a fan along the baseline said something that irked him. Pitino shouted back, having to be restrained by security.
