Former NBA coach Doug Collins might be Northwestern basketball’s biggest fan. Collins has been a regular at Welsh-Ryan Arena ever since his son Chris was hired to coach the Wildcats in 2013, always watching intently and cheering enthusiastically. Now Northwestern is on the verge of the first NCAA Tournament appearance in program history, and Doug Collins can barely watch.
