If North Carolina does have to hire a new football coach, these 10 individuals meet some key criteria. They have clean NCAA records, Division I-A head coaching experience and likely would be within Carolina's financial reach. In alphabetical order: Butch Davis, NFL broadcaster. Was 51-20 as the head coach at Miami from 1995-2000. (Raleigh News & Observer)
