A year late, 2016's top signees ready for breakthrough
Posted Mar 1, 2017
Tomon Fox checked in at No. 194 on ESPN’s top 300 rankings, and he was expected to have a big role in 2016 on the Tar Heels’ defense. An early injury sidetracked that progress, however, and Fox ended up playing just two games. In 2017, however, he’ll be expected to step into a major role at defensive end, a position where UNC’s defense needs a playmaker.
