Long Beach State secured a series win over No. 7 North Carolina with a 4-1 victory Saturday at Boshamer Stadium. John Sheaks and four relievers held the Tar Heels to one run on five hits, while Jarren Duran and Ramsey Romano had two hits each for the Dirtbag. Zack Gahagan had three of UNC's five hits in support of Luca Dalatri, who allowed three runs in six innings.
