Kennedy Meeks was at ease Saturday night, about an hour after North Carolina’s thrilling 90-83 triumph over nemesis Duke. Shortly after delivering an emotional senior-night speech to the contingent of UNC faithful who stuck around for postgame festivities, the Tar Heel big man sat in front of reporters with the Smith Center net around his neck.
