Despite ESPN woes, Swofford expects ACC network success

When ACC commissioner John Swofford announced a linear network partnership with ESPN at last year's ACC Kickoff in Charlotte, he was playfully aware of the vague answers he'd give to questions regarding a potential channel. Unfortunately, the continued erosion of ESPN's cable subscriber base have thrown into question whether a new linear network can be such a sure bet.
