North Carolina is the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament South Regional (Printable Bracket PDF), earning a top seed for a record 16th time and a seventh time in 14 seasons under head coach Roy Williams. The Tar Heels will open play Friday in Greenville, S.C., against No. 16 seed Texas Southern. Time and television information should be announced late Sunday or on Monday morning. (GoHeels.com)
