Heels' road to a bowl starts with win today
Posted Oct 14, 2006
Just as John Bunting suggested, the 1978 Eagles won three consecutive games after their 0-2 start and ended up earning a playoff berth. A parallel might exist with the 2006 Tar Heels, who are off to a 1-4 start but have three consecutive winnable games on their schedule that could get them back into postseason contention. That stretch begins today, when upstart South Florida visits Kenan Stadium.
