Heels' road to a bowl starts with win today

Just as John Bunting suggested, the 1978 Eagles won three consecutive games after their 0-2 start and ended up earning a playoff berth. A parallel might exist with the 2006 Tar Heels, who are off to a 1-4 start but have three consecutive winnable games on their schedule that could get them back into postseason contention. That stretch begins today, when upstart South Florida visits Kenan Stadium. (Durham Herald-Sun)
