There was a threat that Greenville would become the site where a No. 16 seed knocked off a No. 1 for the first time in the history of the NCAA Tournament. The threat lasted maybe two possessions. By that point, UNC revealed its superior size, speed and skill. Texas Southern did not encounter the effort of an overconfident favorite sauntering through the motions.
