The stark reality that confronted UNC during its NCAA Tournament escape of Arkansas pulled Isaiah Hicks out of his comfort zone. It was an intensifying tension with the top-seeded Tar Heels in trouble that had the soft-spoken senior talking at a raised volume and his teammates heeding the call. “You could tell the passion in his eyes,” Theo Pinson said.
