UNC Cardiologist Receives High Honors from Leading Medical Society

A UNC professor and physician who formerly presided over the American Heart Association has earned a distinguished award from the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Sidney C. Smith Jr. was selected to receive the prodigious title of Master of the American College of Cardiology, which is granted to no more than four exemplary fellows each year. (Chapelboro.com)
