With Roy Williams busy coaching UNC towards another Final Four and John Vergos running Rendezvous, arguably the most popular rib joint in Memphis, for now they’ll just have to settle for a mutual respect and a shared meal while the Tar Heels are in town once again. “Roy Williams has been coming here since he coached at Kansas,” Vergos told me Wednesday.
