In a matter of milliseconds as Sunday reached an epic conclusion, North Carolina guard Joel Berry went from thinking Luke Maye’s last-second shot looked good to being convinced of its game-clinching accuracy. “He went right up into it with confidence,” Berry said. “When he let it go and started to skip back, shoot, I knew it. I was just waiting for it to go in.”
