Sideline situation changes for UNC

John Bunting said linebackers Larry Edwards and Durell Mapp played their best games of the season Saturday during the Tar Heels' 27-7 loss at Miami. One possible reason: Their position coach was closer to them. Linebackers coach Tommy Thigpen moved to the sideline late in UNC's loss at Clemson two weeks ago -- and stayed there Saturday when defensive coordinator Marvin Sanders moved upstairs to the coaching box.
