UNC football coach Larry Fedora spoke to media after the Tar Heels' practice Tuesday. Fedora pointed out several players who have stepped up as leaders so far. “M.J. Stewart, he steps up on defense. Donnie Miles, Jalen Dalton is starting to emerge. Andre Smith, Cole Holcomb. Offensively, Bentley Spain and Austin Proehl, those two guys you notice every practice.” (Carolina Blue)
