UNC Softball Pitching Staff Combines For Shutout Of UNCG

North Carolina threw all five members of its pitching staff on Wednesday, combining for a six-hit shutout of neighboring UNCG, 2-0. The win provided the Tar Heels some redemption after the Spartans snapped Carolina’s 11-game winning streak three weeks earlier in Greensboro. With the win, the Heels improve to 27-8 on the season, while UNCG drops to 20-14. (GoHeels.com)
