Destiny fulfilled for UNC. The Tar Heels completed their long-sought redeem dream by outslugging Gonzaga 71-65 on Monday to become NCAA champions. Joel Berry delivered 22 points, Justin Jackson supplied 16 points and Isaiah Hicks added 13 points as North Carolina weathered unsightly offense (35.6-percent shooting from the field) and mounting foul trouble.
