The Tar Heels had different emotions at the end of this season. “There was a lot of tears shed,” Nate Britt said. “After that, it was joy.” For the seniors, this was their last chance, magnified by the heartbreak a year earlier in the buzzer-beating loss to Villanova. “I couldn’t think of anything else,” Isaiah Hicks said, “but getting back here and winning it."
