Moss' status is uncertain for Canes

While Javarris James was beset by pain because of deep bruises to his right and left quadriceps he sustained in the University of Miami's win against Houston on Saturday, fellow tailback Tyrone Moss battled a severe migraine that relegated him to watching from the bench with a towel draped over his head. James, who was named Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Week, practiced in full pads Tuesday.
