Ex-Baylor coach Dave Bliss resigns after airing of documentary about murdered player

The news release Monday from Southwestern Christian University announcing the resignation of head basketball Coach Dave Bliss offered no reasons for the parting of ways. However, it seemed hardly coincidental that it occurred just days after an airing of a Showtime documentary, “Disgraced,” that delved into the events surrounding the 2003 murder of Baylor forward Patrick Dennehy.
