The last two wins were seat-of-the-pants game plans by the coach who still has the notebooks from his days of watching Dean Smith run practices in Carmichael Auditorium, games that had no form or flow, games that were ultimately won by blocking out, wearing down opponents and weathering every charge down the stretch.
