Chazz Surratt in musical chairs competition for UNC’s starting QB job

North Carolina’s quarterback competition sounded a bit like a game of musical chairs this spring. All three players vying to replace NFL-bound Mitch Trubisky as the Tar Heels’ quarterback got an equal share of the snaps in UNC’s spring game. Sophomore Nathan Elliott, along redshirt freshmen Chazz Surrattt and Logan Byrd all had their moments.
