North Carolina was highly ranked, though Duke held the tag of preseason favorite. By the time the postseason rolled around, the Tar Heels were considered a prime contender for the title, so UNC's run through the tournament was no shocker. The core of those two rosters, however, might not be around anymore. “Our goal is to get back next year,” UNC forward Luke Maye said.
