Bentley Spain on his move to guard, building depth along young OL

One piece of significant news coming out of spring practice was the amount of reps that long-time left tackle starter Bentley Spain was getting at guard. Now entering his senior season, Spain told CarolinaBlue that he roughly spent half of spring at left guard, allowing William Sweet and Charlie Heck to gain first team reps at left and right tackle, respectively.
