Endowment fund named for Bill Dooley

John Bunting makes it clear his college football coach was about more than Xs and Os. “Coach Dooley always wanted his players to become good citizens,” said Bunting of the late Bill Dooley, who coached the former NFL player at UNC. On Friday, he represented the Greater Wilmington Sports Hall of Fame in its announcement of the Coach Bill Dooley Education Endowment Fund.
