Austin Proehl leads group of young, inexperienced receivers

Gone are Ryan Switzer, Bug Howard, and Mack Hollins. The only wide receiver returnee in terms of production is senior Austin Proehl. During the 2016 season, Proehl had 43 catches for 597 yards and three touchdowns. A 5-10 Charlotte native, Proehl stepped into a starting role when Hollins when down with an injury midway through the season. (Carolina Blue)
