Best coach: Roy Williams, North Carolina - Williams gets the nod after steering the Tar Heels to their sixth national title. UNC hardly lost a step in 2016-17 despite losing Marcus Paige and Brice Johnson, relying largely on junior and senior veterans in Justin Jackson, Joel Berry, Kennedy Meeks and Isaiah Hicks to get back to the national title game and finish the job .
