Tar Heels honored by governor, lawmakers

Amid the laughter and ovations during North Carolina’s victory tour through the state legislature, Roy Williams wasn’t just there for handshakes and photos. Continuing a trend that played out during the basketball season, Williams wasn’t afraid to acknowledge the political elephant in the room as he addressed lawmakers as they honored the Tar Heels for their national championship.
