Detroit Lions add cornerback depth, sign former UNC CB Des Lawrence

The Detroit Lions have signed undrafted free agent cornerback Des Lawrence. Lawrence has been very effective over the past two seasons as his 81.1 overall grade in 2016 ranked as the 22nd best draft eligible corner from any Power 5 conference this season. Among draft eligible Power 5 cornerbacks, Lawrence ranked in the top 20 in passer rating allowed. (Pro Football Focus)
