Larry Fedora says Chazz Surratt has made great progress

When Chazz Surratt left East Lincoln High for UNC in 2016 as the national and state player of the year, many expected to see him as a future Tar Heels’ quarterback. That could happen as soon as Sept. 2 when UNC hosts California in its season-opener. But it will take winning a four-way battle for the starting quarterback job that wasn’t resolved with UNC’s spring game.
