Cleveland Indians reliever Andrew Miller is human, barely
Posted May 17, 2017
As reporters huddled around Andrew Miller, fellow reliever Boone Logan passed the crowd on his way to his locker. "It's the end of the world!" he shouted. "He gave up a run!" It's true. Miller's 2017 ERA is eternally -- albeit ever-so-slightly -- blemished. The Rays tagged him for a run on an eighth-inning sacrifice fly, and his ERA subsequently ballooned to 0.48. (It's 0.47 now.)
