Miami Heat's Wayne Ellington headed to Sportscaster U. Posted May 18, 2017 Miami Heat guard Wayne Ellington has accepted an invitation to participate in the National Basketball Players Association's Sportscaster U. program at Syracuse University. The program is part of an effort to help players eventually segue into broadcasting careers. Ellington is scheduled to attend the sessions from June 2 to June 5. (South Florida Sun-Sentinel)
