Posted May 22, 2017
Cameron Johnson, a 6-foot-7 guard who averaged 11.9 points last season for the Pitt Panthers, said during a phone interview on Monday that he has “high interest” in transferring to UNC. He likes the way the Tar Heels play, and the interest is mutual. He said that UNC coach Roy Williams is working on his behalf, and trying to convince Pitt to give Johnson his full release.
