Pro Football Hall of Famer Cortez Kennedy dead at 48


The football world has lost one of its greats. Cortez Kennedy has died, Orlando Police confirmed Tuesday. He was 48. Drafted third-overall in the 1990 draft out of Miami (Fla.), Kennedy was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2012 after an 11-year career with the Seattle Seahawks in which the defensive tackle was named to the Pro Bowl eight times and earned five All-Pro selections.
