UNC Men's Tennis Falls In NCAA Championship Match

In its first-ever appearance on the sport's biggest stage, the ninth-ranked UNC men's tennis team fell 4-2 to second-ranked Virginia Tuesday in the NCAA Tournament championship. UNC, which had never advanced beyond the national quarterfinals until this year, finished the season 29-5 with the most wins in school history. Virginia's victory gave the Cavaliers their third NCAA title in a row.
