Pulling the plug on senior punter David Wooldridge apparently was North Carolina's answer to the previous week's blocked punt against Virginia Tech. The Tar Heels entered the game last in the ACC in net punting and used junior John Choate instead of Wooldridge, whose slow operation time has been a problem.
