Zack Gahagan lost a good amount of strength prior to his junior season with the UNC baseball team. Yet his determination — not to mention his versatility in the field — following surgery for a blood clot has provided a powerful message for the Tar Heels this year. For a player who uses strength and stamina as one of his major assets, this could have been a setback.
