Freshman pitching and timely offense keeps UNC alive

North Carolina's crucial win on Saturday afternoon over Michigan was a combination of stellar pitching from a freshman ace, timely hitting and playmaking. It was an elimination game. And the Tar Heels stepped up. "We got a great performance from Luca (Dalatri) today and that kind of set the tone," UNC coach Mike Fox told reporters after the 8-1 win. (Carolina Blue)
