Furman fullback Jerome Felton has John Bunting’s respect, if for no other reason, North Carolina’s defense has yielded 334 yards rushing and back-to-back 100-yard gainers in two contests. “The big fullback is a mean dude,” Bunting said of Felton, a six-foot, 248-pound bruiser who bench presses 405 pounds, squats 500 and has a 34.5-inch vertical leap.
