No. 5 North Carolina Uses Two Late Goals To Ease By Marquette

The Marquette women's soccer team held the No. 5 North Carolina Tar Heels off the scoreboard for more than 73 minutes Friday night but goals by Yael Averbuch and Whitney Engen in the final 17 minutes lifted Carolina (7-1) to a 2-0 win over the Golden Eagles (2-3-2) at Koskinen Stadium Friday evening. The match was the first game of the annual Duke adidas Classic.
