Raiders RB Elijah Hood: 'I was praying I got sent to this team'

Oakland Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie recognized that he had two scat running backs on his roster to pair with an aging Marshawn Lynch and decided to be proactive in selecting burly Raiders rookie running back Elijah Hood in the seventh round. Hood will bring a tough and tenacious running style to Oakland. “I hate being tackled,” he said.
