Q&A: North Carolina’s Phil Ford and Duke’s Nolan Smith

It’s not often that two ACC men’s basketball players of the year are in Gastonia to visit. Monday, 1978 John Wooden Award winner, of UNC, and 2011 ACC player of the year, Nolan Smith of Duke, spoke to the Rotary Club of Gastonia. Smith and Ford talked about their careers, the North Carolina-Duke rivalry and their perspectives on the game. (Gaston Gazette)
