Disappointed, but not discouraged

Unfortunately for Carolina and its fans, this has become a regular scenario since Mack Brown left for Texas. In the nine years since Brown's departure, UNC has started 0-3, 1-8, 3-5, 0-3, 1-3, 0-5, 2-3, 0-2 and now 0-2. The program has had more experience in trying to bounce back than in winning streaks. This game is not likely to be an easy win for the Tar Heels. Furman (2-0) is ranked fourth in the country in I-AA football.
