Sun Valley quarterback picks up North Carolina offer


Sun Valley quarterback , a rising junior, got an offer from UNC Wednesday. Howell, 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, participated at team camps at Clemson and Notre Dame last weekend. The Tar Heels were his 14th offer. Last season, Howell was named Southern Carolina offensive player of the year for the second time and he’s a two-time Union County player of the year.
